Setting the mood before the reveal of its big Super Bowl TV spot for "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," Marvel has declassified three new character posters featuring the super soldier himself and "Avengers" alums Black Widow and Nick Fury.

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is easily one of the most anticipated movie ads set to debut during the Super Bowl, and new posters are only going to make fans of the Marvel Studios films more excited.

All three one-sheets match the grittier tone that we saw in the first trailer. Cap is no longer in the black-and-white world of WWII, and modern day moral gray area is making his brand of all-American peacemaking harder and harder to pull off.

Thankfully, he still has the help of Natasha Romanoff and Nick Fury to guide him through the present day.

The other images released ahead of the Super Bowl trailer hint at important supporting characters in the upcoming Marvel sequel. You can see both Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and the new villain Batroc the Leaper (Georges St-Pierre) in the newly released stills from the set.

You can also check out those photos and read all about MTV News' visit to the set.

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" opens in theaters on April 4.
