Robert Pattinson hosted a ‘Great Gatsby’ themed party for Arbitrage director Nicholas Jarecki’s 34th birthday at his house in LA on Saturday night.
The 27-year-old hosted around 100 guests but most eye-rollingly of all was that 50 Shades of Grey author EL James was there.
And now the entire internet is spontaneously combusting with speculation that R-Patz is going to play Christian Grey in the movie adaptation of the book.
Le sigh. I suppose we’ve all known for ages that this film’s basically going to be an S&M version of the Twilight franchise with endless sequels to keep the Twi-hards entertained (and parting with their cash) for years to come.
Which probably means that Rob and Kristen are going to get back together right around when 50 Shades starts filming.
Meanwhile, any hope of Aaron Taylor-Johnson being cast by his director wife Sam as the whip-wielding Christian Grey have been dashed USA Today have confirmed: ”Aaron is not doing 50 Shades of Grey” a publicist told the paper.
Yeah, probably a wise move if he wants to keep hold of that little career-enhancing thing called ‘credibility’.
