All It Takes to Meet Robert Pattinson Is the Right Craigslist Ad

Robert Pattinson continued to distract himself with his promotional run for Cosmopolis last night with an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! While he avoided talking about his feelings surrounding his recent breakup, Pattinson did reveal some interesting information regarding his shopping habits.
Apparently all it takes to get Pattinson to your house is an intriguing classified ad. "I buy everything off Craigslist," RPattz told the late-night host. Although he's a multimillionaire celebrity, Pattinson described himself as "incredibly cheap" during his appearance on The Daily Show earlier this month, and his Craigslist bargain hunting proves he wasn't just trying to be humble.
Pattison's latest online find was a modest $2,500 pickup truck he tracked down in the Los Angeles suburb of Chino Hills. "I got a 2001 Silverado. It's beautiful. Solid car," he insisted. As Pattinson tells it, this particular purchase came from "this guy who lived with his parents. We were talking about gas prices, going, 'I know man. It's crazy.'" The guy had no idea he was talking to a mega-star. Which explains his poor negotiating skills. "He didn't really understand the concept of negotiating," Pattinson recounted. "I [got him down] 300 bucks and his comeback was, 'What about 50 bucks more?'"
According to Pattinson, every vehicle he's ever purchased came from a Craigslist ad, including his first car, a 1989 BMW he found for $1,000 that has since "blown up." So let this be a lesson to you Twilight fans out there: If you're selling a car, do so in the greater Los Angeles area. You just might end up bartering with Edward Cullen himself.
