Nabbing a coveted role that is sure to be a contender for awards season, Kevin Spacey will play Winston Churchill in an upcoming biopic.
In "Captain of the Gate," the British prime minister's rise to power is followed as he stood against Parliament to defend Britain from Adolf Hitler.
Produced by Sierra/Affinity, the project has yet to find a director, though Ben Kaplan has already written the screenplay.
In the meantime, fans can watch Kevin play a less-than-noble politician in the award-winning Netflix series, "House of Cards."
