Carrie Underwood Sings “The Sound of Music” Tunes on Full Soundtrack: Listen Here!

With only two days until its world premiere, NBC released the full soundtrack to its production of "The Sound of Music" on Tuesday (December 3).

The tunes feature lead vocals from Carrie Underwood as she takes on the iconic role as Maria and sings fan favorites including "My Favorite Things" and "Do-Re-Mi."

Written by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, "The Sound of Music" follows a young woman as she leaves an Austrian convent to become a governess to children of a Naval officer widower.

Starring alongside Miss Underwood are “True Blood’s” Stephen Moyer, Audra McDonald, Christian Borle and Laura Benanti. The performance airs live on NBC Thursday evening (December 5th).
