Quvenzhane Wallis Cast in Annie Lead Role
Quvenzhane Wallis, who's nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her performance in Beasts of the Southern Wild, has been tapped to star as the lead in the upcoming remake of Annie.
Annie, set be be released during the holiday season in 2014, is being directed by Will Gluck, and produced by Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith, as well as Jay-Z.
