It certainly hasn't been a smooth and successful year by any stretch, and Lamar Odom has just been dealt another setback when it comes to his profession as an NBA player.
After being traded in the offseason against his will, the 32-year-old packed up and joined the Dallas Mavericks team for a short while before having to take a leave of absence to care for his ailing father.
And now that he's ready to return, the reigning sixth man of the year has been relegated to the D-League Texas Legends squad in Frisco so that he can get in good enough shape to keep up with his teammates.
While some reports tell that the Mavs' coaches initiated the demotion, more credible sources tell that Odom actually requested to play for the Legends as he readies to resume NBA play.
Meanwhile, Lamar's reality star wife Khloe Kardashian has yet to directly comment on the matter, though she did post a tweet shortly after news of her man's basketball doings broke, with the message reading, "f you only knew the truth... Silly little rabbit... You will believe anything... Jokes on YOU"
