This week on Film Weekly, Jason Solomons meets Italian director Paolo Sorrentino, who has built on the success of his international hit Il Divo with his new film This Must Be The Place. Sean Penn stars in a bizarre tale of a former rock musician and his sudden need to hunt down a Nazi war criminal.
Jason also talks to former child-star Dexter Fletcher, whose directorial debut Wild Bill has just hit cinemas. Dexter discusses the journey from his early acting jobs to the director's chair, and explains how he managed to gather a fine cast that includes Jamie Winstone and Andy Serkis for his East End tale of small time crime and fatherhood.
And Guardian writer Xan Brooks joins the pod to look over this week's other big releases, including the teen-combat sci-fi thriller The Hunger Games and the Dardenne brothers' return with The Kid With a Bike.
