He’s been receiving criticism as of late for a video clip in which he tells a racist joke, but Justin Bieber also has a heavy hitter in his corner.
The “All That Matters” singer has already profusely apologized for using the “n-word” back when he was 15 years old (5 years ago), telling press, “I’m very sorry. I take my friendships with people of all cultures very seriously and I apologize for offending or hurting anyone with my childish and inexcusable mistake.”
And now boxing champ Floyd Mayweather has come forward on Twitter to defend Justin’s racist remark.
He tweeted, “Justin has been nothing but kind to me, my daughters & sons over the years. We all make mistakes when we are young, it’s part of growing up.”
One of the more inflammatory social media posts condemning Bieber stated, “I wish people would stop judging Justin, just because he paid off a paternity suit and turned up hours late at a concert because he was playing Xbox and smoking pot and he assaulted his neighbor and he said Anne Frank would be his fan and he abandoned his pet monkey in Germany, and he went shopping shirtless in February and he wore a gas mask and he spat on his fans and he went to a brothel and he slept with a hooker and he egged his neighbor’s house and he was arrested for drag racing his car whilst high on drugs and went to a Japanese shrine for war criminals and he called a fan a ‘b*tch’ for taking his photo and he made racist jokes on video using the N-word! He’s only human!!”
