His legal battles never seem to end, and Chris Brown ended up losing out on his plea deal yesterday (June 25) after his attorney and prosecutors couldn’t agree on what his statement of the facts should be.
Back in October, the “Don’t Wake Me Up” singer was arrested for allegedly hitting a fan who tried to take his picture and at the time Chris was still on probation for his 2009 attack on Rihanna.
As a result, Brown has tried rehab, been kicked out, served jail time, and had hoped to reach a plea deal that would count his days behind bars as sufficient for his wrongdoing.
But now Chris will have to go to trial on September 8th because the prosecution gave him an incorrect account of the incident. Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos told press, "They wanted him to read from a script that wasn't true.”
