Given her level of fame and fortune, Mariah Carey never really gets a chance to rub shoulders with the public.
But that all changed on Thursday night (May 29) as the “Hero” hottie hopped on the New York City Subway while wearing a blue Versace gown to get home from hosting the Fresh Air Fund gala in Manhattan.
Carey posted a smattering of photos from her excursion via Instagram along with captions like “Laughts pon de subway” and “Glimpses of our joyride on the 1 train #subwayincouture.”
Additionally, Mariah, who was joined by BET honcho Stephen Hill and friend/producer Jermaine Dupri, uploaded a series of Vine videos of the adventures.
