Liberty Ross has filed for divorce from her hubby Rupert Sanders who was on the news everywhere for cheating with Kristen Stewart.
Not sure what took so long for Liberty Ross! An odd timing – she didn’t do it soon after she learned about the cheating and she did not forgive her partner like Robert Pattinson did. She took her sweet time giving a hope that she could get along with the cheating issue, but she has finally done it!
Rupert and Liberty seem to have been at counselling sessions a few times after the cheating news. And it seems they returned from the sessions fine with a smiling face and a few public hugs.
But still, things didn’t workout!
The couple has two children aged 5 and 7 and Ross claims for a joint custody of their children. And she also asks for spousal support and attorney fees. Ross is backed by disso-queen Laura Wasser while Sanders is represented by Lance Spiegel.
A response to the divorce request has been filed on behalf of Sanders by Spiegel. Sanders also supports and wants a joint custody of their children. He doesn’t want spousal support but wants Ross to share the attorney fees.
Sanders was all over the news when he cheated on Ross with Kristen Stewart whom he was directing in “Snow White and the Huntsman”. The photo of the two in a very cosy pose was literally everywhere. Kirsten apologized (publicly) saying that she made a mistake and feels awful and that she loves Kristen. She also seemingly did a private apology to Ross as well!
Pattinson forgave Kristen and the two are doing good (at least on the outside) as of now. But you know, every relationship is very different and we can’t really comment on that!
