Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's onscreen daughter, Mackenzie Foy We all know that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are both musically inclined (he is also a singer-songwriter and she learned how to play the guitar and sing for The Runaways). But did they pass some of that musical talent onto the onscreen daughter?In an interview with The Sag Harbor Express, Twilight composer Carter Burwell revealed that he composed a song for a sweet musical scene between RPattz and Mackenzie Foy, who plays little Renesmee Cullen in Breaking Dawn: Part II.
"Generally, I don’t actually write anything until a film has actually been shot. But, there are some exceptions," Burwell told the newspaper. "In the movie I’m working on right now, which is Breaking Dawn: Part II, they needed Rob Pattinson and the actress who plays his daughter to play piano onscreen. I had to write this duet before they shot the film so they could actually learn the parts. Rob is a musician, so he prides himself on working out the fingering for these correctly."
Burwell didn't mention Kristen being a part of the piano scene, but we have to imagine that she was nearby when it was shot and that she may have also used her musical talents to help 9-year-old Mackenzie learn the notes. Too cute!
