Taking the stage to pay tribute to the late singing legend, Christina Aguilera belted out "At Last" during Etta James' funeral on Saturday (January 28).
The "Voice" co-judge was dressed in all-black attire as she greeted attendees at the Homegoing Celebration held at Bishop Noel Jones City of Refuge in Gardena, California.
Talking to funeral-goers, Aguilera said, “She was the one that cut right through my soul. So tonight, Etta, this song is for you."
The remembrance also included a eulogy from Reverend Al Sharpton, as well as a rendition of “Shelter in the Rain” by Stevie Wonder.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss James passed on this past week at the age of 73 upon losing her battle with leukemia.
