One Direction Given Military Protection In Colombia!

Boyband One Direction were given military protection during their recent show in Colombia. The band kicked off their Where We Are world tour in South America this Friday, and were given a huge entourage of guards and police to ensure their safety.

"They performed in an area known for being a kidnapping hot spot," the police said. "No risks are being taken. The dangers in some of these countries are very real and that's why management have arranged the world's best security teams."

The band won't be wandering into the cities to party or go sightseeing either, since it's assumed it's too dangerous.
