Britney Spears Video Tournament Down To Final Four!

In a shocking upset, 'Toxic' gets served by 'I'm a Slave 4 U,' while 'Lucky' and 'Criminal' shimmy into round four.
By Vaughn Trudeau Schoonmaker

Voting in round three of MTV News' Britney Spears Tournament: 30 Videos for 30 Years has officially closed and we're now down to the Final Four. Will "Lucky" get lucky against the naughtier "Criminal" video? Will "Hold It Against Me" get served by "I'm a Slave 4 U"? Second-round voting is now open so you can help decide.

At the end of round three, "Lucky" pushed ahead of "Till the World Ends" at the last minute, beating the newer video by less than 0.5 percent of the vote. And although "Stronger" held the lead for most of the third round, "Criminal" overpowered the 2000 video late Tuesday night.

Britney's collaborator on "Me Against the Music," Madonna, officially exited the tournament after the duet fell to "Hold It Against Me," which also came as a last-minute surprise since the Brit/Madge collabo held the advantage for most of round three.

In perhaps the most competitive pairing of the third round, two of Britney's widely celebrated videos, "Toxic" and "I'm a Slave 4 U" were pitted against each other, but sweaty Britney out-danced double-agent Britney. MTV News' Britney video experts have already predicted that "Slave 4 U" will be the biggest threat in the Final Four.

Head over to Britney30.MTV.com and vote for your favorite music video in MTV News' Britney Spears Tournament: 30 Videos for 30 Years.

Voting for the top four clips is open until 7 a.m. Thursday; the top two will be unveiled at 10 a.m. on Thursday morning, followed by the big reveal of the winner at 10 a.m. ET on Friday, which happens to be Britney's 30th birthday.

Which Britney video are you rooting for? Let us know in the comments section below!

'Breaking Dawn' Best Scenes: Fans Share Their Picks

In 'Twilight' Tuesday, Twilighters tell MTV News their favorite moments.
By Kara Warner

With "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" still crushing all competition at the box office, it's clear from the film's overwhelming fan support that the highly anticipated instant hit will be raking in more dough in the coming weeks and months.

In last week's installment of "Twilight" Tuesday, we asked fans how many times they planned on seeing "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" in theaters, and their revelations were both impressive and astounding: One young woman had seen the film 19 times in the first six days and claimed that she wasn't finished yet. So, with those multiple viewings in mind — and the dedicated masses who have now seen the film enough times to re-enact it from memory — today's "Twilight" Tuesday is about fans' favorite scenes.

As expected, plenty of folks had trouble selecting just one favorite scene from the action-packed, 117-minute movie. In addition to the three early favorites — the honeymoon scene, birth scene and wedding scene — according to our quick poll, fans seem happiest with the family toasts at Edward and Bella's wedding and Jacob imprinting on Renesmee.

"Love wedding scene and Charlie's speech, also Jake's imprinting to Renesmee scene," Daniela Imrichova said.

"I feel the wedding speeches were a well-thought addition 2 the movie - since it wasnt in the books. LUV Emmet's the best!" gushed Kristen Grumbine.

"My favorite scene was Jake imprinting on Renesmee it really touched my heart that Jake finally found true love," Christine Waters chimed in.

"Jacob imprinting its perfect. I've seen it four times so far and still cry," admitted Desiree Kozlowski.

"I have already watched it 3 times. #Favoritepart = THE WHOLE MOVIE," wrote Valentina.

"I will keep going till they stop playing it!! And my favorite scene?? The whole movie was amazing! #obsessed," wrote Robyn Smyly.

Check out everything we've got on "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1."

Big Time Rush Preparing For 'Crazy' U.S. Tour

'It's going to be nuts,' Carlos Pena tells MTV News of Better With You Tour.
By Christina Garibaldi

Big Time Rush
Photo: MTV News

Big Time Rush already have some big plans heading into the New Year. Starting in February, the boys from the hit Nickelodeon TV show will hit the road for their Better With You Tour. The 16-stop trek will be the band's first U.S. headlining tour, and they'll be promoting their recently released second album, Elevate.

"It's going to be crazy," Carlos Pena told MTV News of the upcoming tour. "The summer tour was just a little taste of what it is. We're doing, like, four weeks of basically a tour boot camp in January and it's going to be nuts."

The boys of Big Time Rush will be going through a rigorous training to get in shape for what's sure to be a high-energy show.

"You have to condition yourself," Kendall Schmidt said. "Because being onstage for over an hour, especially the kind of show that we have, we have so much energy onstage that it's literally an hour-and-a-half workout."

Training isn't the only thing they have on their mind — the group plans to be heavily involved in every aspect of planning the tour.

"We need to relearn a whole new album," James Maslow said. "So we literally have to prepare, create, design everything from what we're gonna do with lighting and sound effects and then physically onstage, dance moves. So we've got a lot of work ahead of us for this tour, but we're excited."

Big Time Rush will be bringing another boy band along for the ride: British group One Direction will be hitting the road for a few of their show dates. However, they still have an open slot for the first leg of their tour, and they seem to have the perfect idea of who should fill it.

"It would be cool to have Jordin Sparks," Pena said. "We did a whole episode with her, and just hanging out with her that week was awesome, so it would be cool to have her on tour with us."

Are you going to see Big Time Rush on tour? Let us know in the comments!

Jackson Family Conflicted Over Conrad Murray's Sentencing

He was handed the maximum time for his manslaughter conviction earlier today (November 29), yet not all members of Michael Jackson's family are satisfied with the four year sentence Dr. Conrad Murray was given.

Obviously filled with endless emotion following Judge Pastor's decision, MJ's brother Jermaine said that the ruling "wasn't enough time" for what Murray had done to his superstar sibling.

Despite Jermaine's unease, sister La Toya seemed optimistic. "Justice was served. Now we just have to deal with the jail overcrowding," she told.

Kathy Hilton, friend of the Jackson family and the person who accompanied La Toya to the courtroom today, also offered up her thoughts, telling press, "They were complaining about [Murray] being in an 8-foot jail cell, Michael is in a box forever."

Rob, Kristen and Taylor Interview with Polsat at the UK Premiere

Starts at 0:36 (dubbed interview)
ETA: Translation added

Translation thanks to lalaith466 at Pattinsonlife

Translated from dubbing. Sorry if it's not quite grammatically correct.

I: How do you cope with such popularity when thousands of people are screaming your name?
Rob: It's nice, but it's part of our job. Besides premieres and promo time it's quite calm, we can live our normal lives.

I: Did you expect that this film would be a huge success all over the world?
Rob: Not at all. The first film had a really low budget, it was an indie, nobody expected this craziness. Then it exploded. In two weeks our lives changed so much.

I: Everything that happened next was a surprise for you?
Rob: Yeah, totally.

Taylor: It's so wonderful to meet this family - my mates from set and the fans.

I: It's nearly the end of the saga. Are you happy or will you miss Bella?
Kristen: Well, I feel really lucky and I have no regrets. Sometimes it's hard to leave something behind if you're part of it for such a long time.
I love this set, I love the memories. I'd like to have an open door and see a light there to be able to reminisce this adventure back.

Taylor: It's cool that we, actors, can start to make other movies now. But I'll miss this.

I: What will you miss the most?
Taylor: We got along with each other. I treat this crew like my family. The saga brought so much joy to us.

Kristen: Special greetings for you. I hope you'll enjoy the film.
Taylor: Thank you so much and have fun watching Breaking Dawn.

Smiley's People: Gary Oldman spies a thrilling return in Le Carr sequel

Star of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy says screen adaptation of the third novel in John le Carr's Karla trilogy looks on the cards

Gary Oldman looks set to return to the world of cold war espionage in a sequel to Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, which topped the UK box office for three weeks earlier this year and has received almost universal acclaim from critics.

Speaking last night at the Gotham Independent Film awards in New York, where he received a career tribute, Oldman told ComingSoon.net that British production company Working Title was in talks to shoot a sequel of sorts.

"I think they're whispering now that they might do Smiley's People," said Oldman. "Not so much as a sequel, because there's a book in the middle actually, but we've set up the world and we'll revisit."

Directed by Swedish film-maker Tomas Alfredson of Let the Right One In fame, and starring Oldman, Colin Firth, Toby Jones, Tom Hardy and Ciaran Hinds, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy opens in the US on 9 December. The Guardian's Peter Bradshaw awarded the film five stars and called it "a skin-crawlingly atmospheric, uncompromisingly cerebral and austere account of John le Carr's cold war espionage novel".

Smiley's People, originally published in 1979, is the third and final novel of John le Carr's Karla trilogy, following Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and The Honourable Schoolboy. It sees an older Smiley called out of retirement for the last time to investigate the death of one of his old agents, a former Soviet general who was also the titular head of an Estonian migr organisation based in London. The book's dramatic denouement sees the spy confronting his nemesis, the Soviet spy-master Karla.

Working Title's apparent decision to film Smiley's People next mirrors that of the BBC, which also chose not to film The Honourable Schoolboy when it filmed Le Carr's books in the 1970s and 80s with Alec Guinness in the lead role.

Black Friday survival guide (Digital Trends)

Digital Trends - If you’ve never done Black Friday before there are some things that you should know and think about before you make your plan. First, if you’re going to go, you should make a plan. Second, you should expect craziness and no less. Don’t get up at 4 am on friday morning thinking that just because you’re an hour early you’ll get exactly what you want with no problems at all. No matter where you are, there are sure to be lines, crowds, and a few crazy people. But if you have the right attitude, and preparation, Black Friday can be a fun tradition for you and your friends or the whole family. Make a plan ahead of time and decide for yourself whether you are going to be a die-hard participant sprinting for the TV section or a casual shopper who will get up early but not battle someone for a Blu-ray player. You can have a good time and be successful either way, but it’s best to decide ahead of time what your strategy is and just how far (or not) you’ll go to get that deal.
