The “Voice” coach has been a popular addition to the singing contest, replacing Christina Aguillera as the show's only female mentor.
Speaking about having to cut a contestant, the songstress said "You have to let one of them go and it's sad. Sometimes the guilt is overwhelming. Last night, for example, I couldn't sleep very well. I had one of my artists in my mind the whole night because I had to let him go. That affected me."
