Comment on Two New ‘Bel Ami’ Clips with Robert Pattinson by D. Martin
Right before he said 'Remember where you are!' what did she say to him? In the book this lady just LOSES it. She has a grown daughter and she was attracted to him from the start. He plays a manipulative game to seduce her -- pulling out all the stops and telling her he loves her -- but she handles it almost like a 13 year old's first crush. You almost feel embarrassed for him -- almost. I really can't wait to see this movie. Georges really has no morals or sense of guilt at all. I would recommend anyone to read the book before seeing the movie. It's a difficult read in places but books written around the turn of the century (this one in 1885) often are. I can't wait to see him play the complete opposite of Edward. This movie was made over two years ago and I'm glad its finally coming out.
