Making for one less sight of gorgeousness on the red carpet, Halle Berry has backed out of her slated appearance at the 84th Academy Awards.
The “New Year’s Eve” actress was scheduled to take the stage as a presenter at the Kodak Theatre tonight (February 26), but has just made it known that she no longer will be attending.
According to reports, Miss Berry decided to remove herself from the Oscar lineup due to the fact that she's still recovering from a broken foot which occurred on the set of "Cloud Atlas" back in September 2011.
And while Halle is no longer among the evening's presenters, the show still features a star-laden lineup of trophy passer-outers including Natalie Portman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sandra Bullock, Tina Fey, Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks, and Bradley Cooper.
