Gwen Stefani Remove No Doubt Video After Racism Claims: "We Didn't Want To Hurt Anyone"

No Doubt's recently released video for "Looking Hot" has been removed from Youtube after spurring an outcry from the Native American community! In the video, lead singer Gwen Stefani is seen wearing traditional Native American clothing while being tied to poles and fighting cowboys which resulted in a firestorm of controversy from both fans and the Native American community

.After after complaints it was racist, the band quickly took to their website to issue an apology and remove the video from YouTube. They write: "Our intention with our new video was never to offend, hurt or trivialize Native American people, their culture or their history." They continue: This is of great concern to us and we are removing the video immediately. The music that inspired us when we started the band, and the community of friends, family, and fans that surrounds us was built upon respect, unity and inclusiveness. We sincerely apologize to the Native American community and anyone else offended by this video. Being hurtful to anyone is simply not who we are."

According to us, this was a very mature and acceptable excuse. We hope that they are appreciated by those affected! (justjared)
