'I couldn't envisage a storyline that would warrant a sequel,' Neeson tells MTV News about making a third movie in the 'Taken' series.

Liam Neeson is a man with a particular set of skills. Skills that make him a nightmare for people like you. But if you're the kind of person who likes those types of nightmares, we've got some bad news: by all accounts, it looks like "Taken 2" is the end of the line for the Irish actor.
Neeson once again takes on the role of retired black ops agent Bryan Mills in "Taken 2," directed by Olivier Megaton. This time, it's not Mills' daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) who winds up in the clutches of kidnappers, but Mills himself, as well as his estranged wife Lenore (Famke Janssen). The reason behind their "taken-ing": the father of one of Mills' victims in the first "Taken," played by go-to-Eastern-European-villain actor Rade ?erbed?ija, is out for revenge.
Once the curtain closes on "Taken 2," all three members of the Mills family will have been taken at one point in time, making it hard to imagine what new ground a third film in the Luc Besson-produced franchise would possibly explore. That's not a notion lost on Neeson, either; according to his co-star Famke Janssen, the actor "apparently is not interested in [pursuing a sequel] at all," she told MTV News.
Explaining himself in his own words, Neeson told MTV, "I couldn't envisage a storyline that would warrant a sequel, you know?"
That isn't a problem for Janssen, however, as the actress offered us with some ideas of her own for how to take the "Taken" series forward another step.
"I'm perfectly happy to come back and take over Liam's part. Or anybody's part. Or all of them," she joked with us. "I don't care! I could use the money, so I'll come back!"
"Taken 2" hits theaters this Friday (October 5).
