With her new movie "Ted" having just hit theaters in a grand way, Mila Kunis continued the promotional efforts by covering the August 2012 of ELLE UK magazine.
The 28-year-old actress looked enchanting in a crystal beaded silk dress by Dior for the Doug Inglish shot front page while dishing about everything from some men not seeing women as being funny to the downsides of being a Hollywood actress.
Highlights from Miss Kunis' interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to ELLE UK!
On the difficulty of women to be funny is some men's eyes:
"There is a small, weird group of people who don't like women being crude, but they need to get over that. Lots of men still don't see women as funny."
On the downsides of being an actress:
"I don't need this attention to be happy. It's actually a whole industry of rejection. People want the shiny stuff that comes with the job, but it can be rough. That's the truth; I'm just the first to say it. It's important that what I do and who I am are not the same thing."
On having to work hard to remain successful:
"I always assume that people underestimate me. Why not? Why wouldn't they? I have everything working against me at this point. I am a woman, I'm a child actress and I was on the television show for eight years. But I have worked really hard to prove them all wrong. It's the stubborn side of me."
