In what he hopes to be a night of wins, Chris Brown was among the early triumphant artists at the 2012 BET Awards in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday (July 1).
The “Kiss Kiss” singer was all smiles at the Shrine Auditorium venue as he joined a long list of stars at the annual entertainment-filled night.
Along with taking the stage as one of the night’s many performers, Brown is in the running to take home three different awards - as he already nabbed Best Male R&B Artist with Video Director of the Year and the CocaCola Viewers’ Choice Award still up for grabs.
As for the ceremony, the 2012 BET Awards are being hosted by iconic actor Samuel Jackson while featuring performances by Usher, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz and Big Sean, among many others.
With Kanye West being the top nominee with seven bids for hardware, the show also includes special tributes to the late, great Whitney Houston, as well as Rev. Al Sharpton as the Humanitarian Award Honoree and Maze featuring Frankie Beverly as the Life Achievement Award winner.
