Ohioans Share Thoughts on the National Humane Society and Exotic Pet Protection (ContributorNetwork)

ContributorNetwork - The release and subsequent shooting of dozens of exotic pets from Terry Thompson's Zanesville, Ohio farm pushed the issue of wild animal ownership into the national spotlight. Thompson freed nearly five dozen wild animals from their cages before committing suicide. Ohio currently has some of the most lenient exotic pet permit policies and ownership laws in the nation.
