Ryan Seacrest: American Idol “Would Not Exist” Without Dick Clark
Ryan Seacrest kicked off Wednesday's "American Idol" with a brief tribute to his longtime mentor, Dick Clark, who died of a heart attack on Wednesday. "We can't begin tonight's show without acknowledging the passing of a television pioneer and my dear friend Dick Clark," Seacrest began.
