As one of Hollywood’s longstanding fixtures, Winona Ryder knows how to appeal to an audience. And that’s just what Rag & Bone is looking for.
The “Reality Bites” actress was chosen as the face of the brand’s Fall 2014 ad campaign. In fact, managing partner Marcus Wainwright hand-picked her.
Wainwright told WWD, “To us, [she's] a bona fide icon. One of the things that makes her so cool is that although she has this incredible career, she isn't interested in being a movie star."
Given that she had her heyday in the 1990s, Winona’s throwback appeal may very well pay big dividends for Rag & Bone, especially given the resurgence of nostalgia for the era as of late.
