Grace of Monaco director calls Harvey Weinstein re-edit a 'pile of shit'

Harvey Weinstein may ditch the high-profile Grace Kelly biopic which stars Nicole Kidman as the Hollywood icon turned European princess following a row with director Olivier Dahan over the final cut.

Weinstein is now considering abandoning US distribution rights to Grace of Monaco, according to Variety. He and Dahan are reportedly locked in a furious battle over the future of the biopic, which is due to open the Cannes film festival on 14 May, with the La Vie en Rose film-maker refusing to make changes which Weinstein believes could transform the project into an awards-season contender.
