Will Farrell and Jimmy Fallon in drag, Boris Johnson on Westminster power, and the world's fastest two-seater car
There's a bit of a rap theme to this week's selection, kicking off with Justin Timberlake joining Jimmy Fallon for the latest instalment of his history of rap. Meanwhile, NBC Nightly News managing editor and anchor Brian Williams raps The Sugar Hill Gang's classic Rapper's Delight – with a little help from a few friends. And if you thought that blend of words and music was impressive, you will love our amazing tongue twister rap – the video features the 67th take apparently!
Michelle Obama appeared on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Will Ferrell in drag to promote her Let's Move! campaign. In a sketch for a fake Nickelodeon show called Ew!, she popped in to show "Stacy" and "Sarah" why eating right and exercising are not "ew!" things to do.
No one knows if the first lady and the president are fans of the Netflix drama House of Cards and this week we've got a special Westminster version featuring Nadine Dorries, Boris Johnson, Andrew Mitchell and Chris Bryant, which was made by The Spectator. We've also got a comedy clip of Netflix's Drone to Home campaign and petrol heads will enjoy watching the Hennessey Venom GT set a new world speed record for two-seat sports cars by reaching a top speed of 270.49 mph (435.31 km/h). The test was performed at the Kennedy Space Center on the 3.2-mile Space Shuttle landing runway.
To wrap – or rap – it up, there's a short but sweet clip of BBC news presenter Caroline Bilton who really gets that sinking feeling. Enjoy!

Another among many sexy stars to grace the City of Love this week, Miranda Kerr made an appearance at the Sonia Rykiel Ready-To-Wear collection show today (February 28).
Cute in her casual designer duds, the Victoria's Secret Angel wore a black trench coat over a frilly lace dress, sporting some beautiful thigh-high boots to complete her look.
Hopping on Twitter to document the fashion parade, the 30-year-old brunette posted a selfie, attended by make-up artists on all sides, simply writing, "Backstage @soniarykiel ❤️"
Also throwing in a snapshot of herself walking the runway at the event, Miranda wrote, "Closing look for @soniarykiel xxx," capturing herself in a flattering velvety dress.

The 'Girls' star was detained for possession of the feline accessory.

When Lena Dunham was detained by the TSA at LAX airport for possession of a kitten-shaped keychain, the "Girls" star feared for her freedom, later comparing herself to Amanda Knox, the American student who was imprisoned for murder in Italy.
During an appearance on the "Late Show" Thursday, Dunham regaled Seth Meyers with a tale of her tussle with airport security. While going through the scanners, agents detected a weapon in her purse, a "self-defense keychain" in the shape of a cat gifted to her by a colleague.
"It's shaped like a cat — it goes over your knuckles," she told Meyers, "but I guess the two ears could gut somebody.... I understood sort of intellectually it could be used as a weapon, but really all I thought was like, 'What a cute little cat!' "
We assume @lenadunham's "weapon" must have looked something like this. #LNSM pic.twitter.com/W0QPcfioqe
— Late Night (@LateNightSeth) February 28, 2014
Not beguiled by the cat's cuteness, the TSA summoned the fuzz and Dunham, who was barred from making phone calls, was subject to a criminal background check.
"I was so scared — I was like, They're gonna Amanda Knox me," Dunham said, opining that she hoped someone going through security would recognize her from "Girls" and thus identify her as a law-abiding citizen.
"I'm gonna go away for a long time," she said. "The criminal justice system is broken in this country. They put away the good people and let the bad people go free."
Knox and her boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito spent four years in Italian prison for the stabbing murder of Knox's roommate Meredith Kercher before being released in 2011. They were recently convicted again and are currently appealing the conviction, according to People.
For her alleged crimes, Knox is facing 28 and a half years in prison. Dunham, however, was cut an easier break: The TSA released her with a warning, confiscating the cat-shaped bauble.

A week after revealing their secret duet, the pair hit the dance studio on Thursday.

After getting over the "buttaflies" in her belly during a recording session with Chris Brown, Ariana Grande took it a step further on Thursday and danced cheek-to-cheek with her duet partner.
Brown posted an image of the pair pulling off a deft ballet move, his hand on her right thigh, her arm wrapped around the back of his head as they stared into each other's eyes in a dance studio. "Coming soon!" Brown wrote, perhaps hinting that we might see the pair co-starring in a video as well.
Grande is clearly giving their mystery collabo her all, posting an image of her ballet shoe-clad feet and complaining of "#blisters #bloodytoez #yesmyribbonsaresloppilyfallingdownafter3hoursofrehearsal #yesmyfeetcouldbeenpointeharder."
Last week, Grande said she was working on new music and manager Scooter Braun tweeted about an "amazing session" she had that will produce an "incredible duet" soon. The next day, Brown posted what appeared to be lyrics, "I dug a single seed into the ground, I hope it grows."
Grande supplied the next line at the same time, "In a year or two if you're around, you'll see a rose."

From age, to noms, to box-office numbers, MTV News breaks it all down.
By Craig Flaster
Numbers aren't everything ... they're the only thing. Just ask Jordan Belfort or the crew from "American Hustle."
With that in mind, MTV News decided to put together this infographic breaking down all the numbers you need to know for the 2014 Oscars but were too afraid to ask (or too lazy to look up).
The 16 Couples Who Will Own The Oscars Red Carpet.
We've broken down the Best Picture nominees by box office numbers ("Gravity" soared), the acting categories by age (JLaw is only 23!) and total nominations (Meryl Streep has 19), and even checked out which categories had the highest and lowest Rotten Tomatoes rating (Best Makeup And Hairstyling didn't do so great).
And of course, no Oscar infographic is complete without some fun facts. Matthew McConaughey was only six years old when Bruce Dern received his last Oscar nomination way back in 1978, and a bunch of nominees weren't even born yet. And even the great Meryl Streep had just been nominated for her first Oscar.

He’s only a few days away from possibly taking home the Best Song Oscar at the 86th Academy Awards, and Pharrell Williams was all about celebrating last night (February 27) in Los Angeles.
The “Get Lucky” singer invited a bunch of his celebrity friends to a shindig hosted by Bionic Yarn, G-Star and Hennessy Privilege, and everyone had a blast.
Jamie Foxx, Ellen Pompeo and Johnny Knoxville all hammed it up for the cameras as they danced and drank the night away.
Also in the house were Sean Penn and Charlize Theron, who just happen to be in the midst of a new romance and can’t keep their hands off of each other.
An insider told press, "Sean is head over heels in love with Charlize, and her son Jackson. He is a totally different person around Charlize, she brings out the gentle and fun side that not many people have seen of Sean. To see this previously surly grown man, romping around Charlize's backyard with Jackson, with a smile on his face would amaze Sean's detractors. Charlize is getting Sean to not take himself too seriously.”

Filming took place today in the Downtown Core at a Building ridden with Bedbug problems in the past, with both external and internal shoots taking place for much of the afternoon. As a torrential downpour of sloshy wet snow handicapped the City midday, the Shoot moved indoors where a Movie Premiere scene within the Film had commenced.
(...)
The Film’s Star, Pattinson, was spotted smoking a cigarette in a hidden area of the Building he was filming at in the afternoon, later retiring to his Trailer for a six-hour-long break which saw him lunching on a Subway Sandwich, craving a large bag of Potato Chips in the evening brought to him by his Assistant. The handsome 27-year-old British Actor who plays the Lead Role of Stock, donned a Canada Goose Parka and was seen exiting quietly, his hood concealing his face. His Private Bodyguard Dean aided him along to his vehicle, narrowly avoiding a serious fall on the extremely slippery footing. Fortunately he made it unscathed and fall-free to a late night of filming!

Bringing some post-Valentine's Day romance to the celebrity circle, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are engaged!
Sporting a massive diamond ring on THAT finger while out with her mom on Thursday (February 27), sources told E! News that the rumors are official: she and her former “That 70’s Show” co-star are tying the knot.
Dating for nearly two years, 36-year-old Ashton and 30-year-old Mila got together in April of 2012, to the delight of their fans, but didn’t reveal any serious public details until much later.
Going so far as to call speculation that she and her man were dating “absurd” two years ago, the Jim Bean Spokeswoman left nothing to the imagination, posting a cute snapshot of herself with a glowing Ashton on Instagram yesterday (February 26), with a caption that read, “I love you @kutcher78.” Their love is a secret no more!

With the big heroes in their 50s, 60s and 70s, the usually reliable JJ Abrams is plunging the Girls star into a fearsome spotlight
• Girls star Adam Driver set to play Star Wars villain, reports say
If there is one area where JJ Abrams usually gets it right, it is casting. He was on the money when he picked the relatively untried Chris Pine to play the new Captain Kirk in 2009's rebooted Star Trek. He nailed it when he saw the potential of Phillip Seymour Hoffman to portray one of the most sinister villains in recent Hollywood history in 2006's unexpectedly good Mission: Impossible III. And he may yet have come up trumps with the casting of Girls' Adam Driver as a Darth Vader-like nasty in the mega-hyped upcoming Star Wars revival: Episode VII. Even so, from what we think we know about the first Disney-produced film in the long-running space saga, this seems like a skewiff decision.
Star Wars: Episode VII has been the subject of more spurious casting rumours than just about any film in Hollywood history, but Driver's entry into final negotiations for the role of the main bad guy has been confirmed by all the main US trade publications and looks close to a done deal. Yet we are also told the new film was recently retooled to centre on the classic characters of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Han Solo, played by 62-year-old Mark Hamill, 57-year-old Carrie Fisher and 71-year-old Harrison Ford. In that context it looks very strange indeed for Abrams to pick such a youthful-looking villain to go up against his crinkly lead trio.
Driver is 30, but despite his impressive size looks, and often plays, younger. His appointment would have made a great deal of sense if Star Wars: Episode VII was still shooting from the abandoned Michael Arndt version of the script, which reportedly centred on a new generation of Skywalkers and Solos. But it seems a little pointless "skewing young" for the lucrative under-25 audience when your main heroes are fast approaching (or in Ford's case have passed) retirement age.
Driver's reported casting comes a couple of weeks after Jesse Eisenberg was named as the new Lex Luthor in the forthcoming "Superman vs Batman" movie, a move observers said had been implemented to ensure Zack Snyder's Man of Steel sequel appealed to younger filmgoers. It seems unlikely that Abrams, who played pretty hard-to-get before finally agreeing to direct Episode VII, is under studio pressure to do something similar. And yet the reaction to Driver's casting is likely to mirror the response to Eisenberg's seizing of the Luthor mantle, which has largely centred on The Social Network star's callow looks.
You have to wonder whether an actor with a little more gravitas might have been a more sensible choice for Episode VII. Michael Fassbender and Hugo Weaving, actors established as go-to Hollywood bad guys, were also said to be in the running. But Abrams does at least score points, if the news is confirmed, in his apparent determination to think outside the box.
If Driver emerges as the breakout star of Episode VII, this is a move which will be hailed as a genius decision. Perhaps the Lost creator, not known as a conservative film-maker, needs to satisfy a need to stamp his own mark on the space opera. Or it might be that Driver's Vader-like villain is simply a hangover from previous versions of the script who will come into his own when younger heroes grab their lightsaber-shaped batons in later films. Of course it's worth pointing out that this is Star Wars, a universe in which a decrepit and ancient green alien dwarf can lift a starfighter from a gloopy swamp just by closing his eyes (or spin through the air like Sonic the Hedgehog if you believe the irritating prequels). In some ways, age matters little.
What's certain is that Vader is a tough act to follow for any actor. It took two men to play the villain in the original trilogy: one (Dave Prowse) to provide his imposing stature and muscular power, the other (James Earl Jones) to deliver his sumptuously sinister tones. Driver, at a tall and muscular 6ft 3in, might just have the attributes to do it all by himself. But he only has to ask Hayden Christensen for advice if he wants to find out how it can all go horribly wrong.
The Canadian actor, who played whiny proto Sith Lord Anakin Skywalker in the final two Star Wars prequels, has unsurprisingly slipped off the radar since. Driver, consistently excellent in HBO's addictively leftfield Girls and praised for small roles in the Coen brothers' Inside Llewyn Davies and Noah Baumbach's Frances Ha, looks a different proposition. His unorthodox looks alone – weaselly yet muscular like a geeky American Football quarterback – mark him out as an actor who does not fit the identikit Hollywood mould. But as the first cast member to be convincingly named for Episode VII, the San Diego-born actor will find himself plunged into a spotlight as intense and fearsome as the one endured by his predecessor between now and the film's release in December 2015.

Welcome to my fundraise auction on behalf of the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation. I'll be running this year London's marathon and I have a fundraise target of £4,000 pounds.
I would specially like to thank actors Sienna Miller and Robert Pattinson, who have jointly donated 3 items that will be auctioned for this great cause! Sienna Miller: autographed Burberry handbag and Diane von Furstenberg robe. Robert Pattison: autographed runner singlet. All the items that you will find here are original and were donated by the artists themselves. Also all the items are new, unless otherwise stated.
The online auction will take place on Ebay from 1st through 10th April, so please stay tuned as the link will be posted here as the date approaches. In the meantime, please show your love (and generosity) to this great cause through your donations! Also remember to like my Facebook page http://on.fb.me/1gDV1jB and follow me on Twitter https://twitter.com/marysolrunning for updates!
Why I run
My aim is to raise as much money as possible for Prostate Cancer Research, as my husband was stricken with Prostate Cancer in 2010. After surgery, chemo and radio therapy, he has been told he is now in remission.
When this happened to my husband, we were obviously devastated, as we have 3 children, now aged 15, 18 and 27, but we now have a future that is looking better as time goes by.
I discovered that Prostate Cancer is one of the most serious forms of cancer in men, as it often goes undiagnosed, often until it is too late. Also since my husband’s diagnoses, he has been very forthright in talking about it to his friends and colleagues, and telling them that it is important that they get regularly checked by their GP. We have also been reminded of this as other friends have been recently diagnosed, and although each person is different, we hope that it was perhaps the experiences of my husband that prompted these friends to be checked.
The more I have learned, then the more I wish to help in raising money and more importantly, awareness of the problems of prostate cancer, and as I lead a very hectic life, I still ensure I work out and keep fit at my Local YMCA in central London on a daily basis.
I have been involved in running 5k and 10k races, particularly for Breast Cancer, for many years, and this was also brought home to me as I myself had a scare approximately 2 years ago with a lump in my breast, luckily benign, and I now want to stretch myself to the next level. So in the next few months,I'll take part in other races. I will keep you posted about that!
I sincerely wait in great anticipation of I hope a positive outcome to this personal effort.
Donating through Virgin Money Giving is easy so please support me today!

The star, dogged by accusations of homophobia, has turned his back on his adoring public. One day, perhaps, we will appreciate what we have lost
During the timeworn bit of the Oscars ceremony that remembers the stars who have been extinguished this year, Lost in Showbiz really hopes Philip Seymour Hoffman doesn't get the last shot. Instead, let the RIP montage conclude with a lingering image of Mr Alec Baldwin, who left us this week.
To clarify: the Cat in the Hat legend didn't check out to the great red carpet in the sky, but instead penned an essay in New York magazine announcing that he was leaving public life. I'm not sure what the technical term for this important elective act is: fame-suicide, perhaps, or star-a-kiri.
Naturally, it is axiomatic that any celebrity who leaves us is regarded as having been taken from us too soon – yet to read Mr Baldwin's 5,000-word opus is to be reminded that he is quite exceptional in this regard. If anything, he has lingered much too long.
The essay, headlined Goodbye, Public Life, focuses much on the accusations of homophobia that have dogged Baldwin in recent times, owing to his habit of calling the admittedly odious paparazzi who harass him "toxic little queens" and whatnot. Whether an attempt to absolve himself which blithely deploys terms like "an F-to-M tranny", "awash in gay people" and "Gay Department of Justice" can be judged an unqualified success is a matter of opinion. But for Lost in Showbiz, all is forgiven when you read the following: "Warren Beatty, who is mystifyingly intelligent and wise," explains Alec, "said to me: your problem is a very basic one, and it's very common to actors. And that's when we step in front of a camera, we feel the need to make it into a moment. This instinct, even unconsciously, is to make the exchange in front of the camera a dramatic one."
Aha! Now I see. Every time Alec reaches for the worst insult he can find, and appears to alight automatically on faggot or queen or whatever, he is not revealing a subconscious distaste for gay people. He is creating some sort of luminous cinematic moment. He is giving us His Craft.
And now it's over, and God knows it's like the lights have gone out. In time, no doubt, we'll gather the strength to be able to celebrate what we had, and acknowledge how lucky we were to live in a time of such dazzling, impromptu moment-making. But for now, there is just the pain. And the terrible, terrible darkness.
