They have one of the hottest shows on television, and the cast of “Modern Family” showed their gratitude to their viewers with a Fan Appreciation Day on Monday (October 28).
Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, Ty Burrell, Ed O'Neill and Nolan Gould all showed up at the Westwood Village Theaters in Westwood, California for the fun-filled bash.
Additionally, the Fan Appreciation Day served to highlight “Modern Family’s” partnership with Feeding America and the USA Network to raise funds for and awareness of local food banks as the holiday season approaches.
USA Network VP Toby Graff shared, “Forty-nine million Americans lack the means to get enough nutritious food on a regular basis. This ‘Modern Family’ event is a great platform to help shed light on this enormous problem and encourage people to join Feeding America’s efforts to address it.”
“Given that one in five children faces hunger in our country, receiving support from everyday modern families can help provide food to families in need,” added USA honcho Leah Ray.
