He’s been busy working on “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” as of late, and Francis Lawrence must be doing a killer job.
According to a report, the famed director has just signed a contract with Lionsgate to continue with the franchise and helm the two-part “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay” project as well.
Additionally, all three Lawrence-directed flicks have official release dates, with “Catching Fire” coming November 22, 2013, “Mockingjay Part 1” slated for November 21, 2014, and “Mockingjay Part 2” scheduled for November 20th, 2015.
The first installment of “The Hunger Games” did tremendously well in the worldwide box office, posting more than $700 million in sales.
