Elle DeGeneres Set As Oscars Host 2014!

It's finally official who is going to be the host for the Oscars 2014! That person is no less than Ellen DeGeneres, who has been honored with the prestigious duty to host The 85th annual Academy Awards. This will be the second time for Ellen to lead the event after hosting back in 2007.

"We are thrilled to have Ellen DeGeneres host the Oscars," Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron said in a statement. Ellen made the announcement herself on Twitter: "It's official: I'm hosting the #Oscars I'd like to thank @TheAcademy, my wife Portia and, oh dear, there goes the orchestra." The Oscars are set for Sunday, March 2.
