Leighton Meester Is Out Of The Veronica Mars Movie!

Leighton Meester was supposed to reprise her role as Carrie Bishop in the upcoming Veronica Mars movie, but now her character has been re-cast. The producers really wanted Leighton in the movie, but unfortunately she couldn't make her schedule work, and decided to skip Veronica Mars. The movie will be released in the first quarter of 2014.
