This spectacular concert-movie shows the band at the height of their powers
The intro section, with its TV news footage, lulls you into expecting the usual lo-fi visuals you get with live concert films. But we soon realise that the Hungarian state film department employed dozens of film cameras to record Queen's momentous 1986 concert; what we get is very much Queen: the Movie. Still running on the momentum of Live Aid, Queen were at the height of their powers as a live act, and the roar of the 100,000-plus crowd becomes a component of the songs. This is a band who lived to be on stage, and this is the best document I've seen of that experience.
