I liked how SM conveyed the new born sensations it was really great. I rolled my eyes about the beauty of Edward part (ok we get since the first book, Edwaaard is bioutifuuuuul).
I don't think we should judge Rosalie that harshly, yes she is all about Renesmée but I don't think she doesn't care about Bella she is just not her priorities right now and I don't understand why we should judge her about that. Her priorities were always about Bella's humanity and Renesmée so I understand if she doesn't want to marvel at what she thinks is a bad thing (being a vampire) and if she prefers to stay with Renesmée + I think she doesn't really trust Jacob at this point, after all he wanted to kill the hybrid.
I would have loved to see Bella being a little more vampiry and less perfect, that's kind of boring and so Mary Sue to read that even as a new-born she is perfect : what does that mean for Jasper ? Basically you're a failure mate !
