What To Expect From the 2012 London Olympic Closing Ceremonies

As more details begin to leak, everyone is buzzing over the big name artists who are expected to be a part of the closing ceremonies this weekend for the 2012 London Olympics.

Victoria Beckham was reportedly spotted rehearsing with her former "Spice Girls" band mates and sources say One Direction, Elton John and Adele are also expected to perform.

The theme of the closing ceremony is “A Symphony of British Music” and 30 of Great Britain’s greatest hits will be featured with 4,100 people involved however, with pixel boxes on all 80,000 seats in the arena director David Arnold promises, "It's more theatrical than a concert because it covers every inch of the stadium. Hopefully, it will be a big party."

When talking about what viewers can expect, Arnold told The Telegraph, "To me, this should be the greatest after-party in the world, If the Opening Ceremony was the wedding, then we're the wedding reception."

Americans can watch the the Olympic flame be extinguished on air tape delayed Sunday August 12 from 7-10:30 p.m. on NBC.
