Yesterday was a big day for Robert Pattinson. In his first public appearance since his girlfriend Kristen Stewart was caught cheating on him, Robert not only walked the red carpet at the NYC premiere of his film Cosmopolis and sat down for an interview with Jon Stewart, but the actor hit up the afterparty and really seemed to enjoy himself.
According to People.com the actor arrived at the PH-D Rooftop Lounge at Manhattan’s Dream Downtown hotel around 10pm and according to a source;
“He was very charismatic, all smiles, looking very relaxed and hugging all who stopped by to say hi. The general crowd gravitated towards his table, but he was shielded by security. He was surrounded by women and the movie’s cast.
“The whole room was watching him, and he looked genuinely at ease and comfortable the whole time.”
I thought Rob was fantastic on The Daily Show and I’m happy to see that he’s back out in the public eye again. Let’s face it, he and Kristen are both pretty young and they’ll both bounce back from this whole scandal and I’d rather everyone move on sooner than later. I am looking forward to seeing how they’ll handle the promotional tour for Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2. That will definitely be interesting!
