Any Twilight fans still hoping that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will appear together at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 6 might want to look away. Kristen and Rob are no longer a part of this year’s show.
A source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Rob, 26, and Kristen, 22, “were not [100 percent] confirmed for the show, so it isn’t being considered a cancellation [by MTV].” Our source tells us that there was talk about trying to do a surprise moment with both of them coming out on stage, like “when Pee Wee Herman came out after his scandal.” “But those ideas were shattered fast due to the extreme nature of the situation they both have been going through with the break-up and affair,” says our source.
While the show is still being put together, our source tells us, “Since it is not the Movie Awards, the need for them there from MTV is less…as they will have plenty of room
