Religious Youths in Manila Protest Against Lady Gaga's Upcoming Show: "Stop the Lady Gaga Concert"!

Looks like Mother Monster has ended up in some serious problems! Controversial pop superstar Lady Gaga is currently on a world tour but apparently, a lot of the world doesn't want to see her play. She arrived in Manila yesterday but the people's reception was not very positive... 200 catholic youths marched in Manila Saturday morning for the second straight day, chanting “Stop the Lady Gaga concerts.” The protesters said they objected to Gaga’s music, especially her song “Judas,” and wanted the concerts to be canceled. They held placards urging the pop diva to “respect our faith, stop the blasphemy.” Catholic bishops today led calls for the authorities to cancel concerts by Lady Gaga in Manila next week.

The singer was already forced to cancel a show in Jakarta, Indonesia, and her show in Seoul, South Korea was restricted to an 18 and older crowd.Under Philippine law, people who offend race or religion can be sentenced to up to six years in prison, although no one has been convicted recently.
