Fans of the comedy “Dodge Ball: A True Underdog Story” may get their wish for a sequel, as The Hollywood Reporter reported on Monday (April 22) that 20th Century Fox has one in the works.
The 2004 hit starred Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller as rival gym owners who take part in a winner-takes-all dodge ball championship.
According to the report, the studio has hired Clay Tarver to write the screenplay, which is said to follow a series of circumstances that force the rivals to join forces.
Producing the sequel will be Ben Stiller and Stuart Cornfield, through Ben’s production company. Check back with GossipCenter for all the latest as it develops.
