Evil Dead is expected to scare up a weekend box office victory, according to early estimates. The remake of the 1980s horror classic is on pace for $27 million in its debut, which would be enough to beat G.I. Joe: Retaliation ($22 million) and The Croods ($21 million). Jurassic Park 3D, a 20th anniversary re-release of the dinosaur action-adventure flick, is tracking toward an $18 million fourth place finish.
