While Kristen Stewart was way up north at the Toronto International Film Festival, Robert Pattinson stayed back in the States, stuck with Twilight promotional duties. Pattinson joined Taylor Lautner and other members of Breaking Dawn cast at the 28th annual VMAs to unleash an exclusive clip of the final film in the Twilight franchise.
The recently separated stars have been dealing with their breakup in different ways. Rob seemed in good spirits with the old crew when he debuted the clip that heavily featured his ex. Pattinson's cure for heartbreak seems to be to throw himself into his work. After the breakup, Rob jumped right on the Cosmopolis publicity train, appearing on shows like Daily Show and Good Morning America (though he did avoid any KStew questions.) Now, he it seems as though he has no problem being the face of Breaking Dawn 2.
On the other hand, Kristen Stewart has been a borderline recluse until today. Following allegations she cheated on Pattinson with her Snow White director, Stewart cancelled her PR obligations and kept such a low profile, even the paparazzi couldn't get a shot. It took nearly two months for Stewart to make a glitzy red carpet appearance, which she did this evening at the Toronto Film Festival on behalf of her upcoming On the Road. Stewart avoided talking to reporters, but smiled her way through photographs and looked fantastic in her floral lace number.
