Kristen Stewart admits it was tough to make it through her first red carpet experience after her very public cheating scandal made headlines this summer. So, hitting the Breaking Dawn 2 premiere with Robert Pattinson, the guy she cheated on, would conceivably be an even more nerve-wrecking experience. But she says that's not the case.

The actress gave an interview in Toronto at the premiere of her new flick On the Road Saturday and said she's not worried about having to share the spotlight with Pattinson in a couple of months. "We're going to be fine," Stewart said (via AP). "We're totally fine."

Her quote seems to imply that they'll be "fine" on the promotional circuit together and in general. But is that like "fine" as in "we're still together and working it out"? Or "fine" as in "we'll make it through the cruel world without each other"? Unclear. This was the first time the star's talked about Pattinson since releasing a heartfelt public apology for cheating on him with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, after all, and she didn't elaborate.

Stewart did make it clear that she's totally relieved to still have support from her Twilight fanbase, even at her other movie premiere. "You expect a lot of people at a Twilight premiere, but showing up at an On the Road Toronto film festival screening and seeing that amount of people is absolutely, disarmingly amazing," she said. "It felt pretty cool."

Perhaps that's what helped her get through the stressful appearance. She also talked about what it was like to get out behind the cameras for the first time. "I was a little nervous, obviously. I'm always nervous before a red carpet," Stewart said. "To be honest, I was just kind of telling myself, like, just don't black out. Be there, don't just figuratively put your head down and barrel though it. Be there, appreciate it. Luckily, very, very much I was able to do that."
