Landing safely in Florida after a flight from California, Eva Longoria was seen at the Miami International Airport.
The "Desperate Housewives" star looked fresh from after her trip in a white top, bright red pants, a tan scarf, and flip flops.
Her business in California, however, wasn't for pleasure. Eva attended the funeral of groundbreaking Latina actress Lupe Ontiveros at the St. Hilary Church of Perpetual Adoration in Pico Rivera. Ontiveros is best known for playing the convicted murderer Yolanda Saldivar in the 1997 film "Selena." She was also a fierce advocate in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
Having worked together on the hit ABC drama, the 37-year-old was asked to do a reading at the Catholic service. Accompanied by "That '70s Show" actor Wilmer Valderrama, Miss Longoria was seen tearfully leaving the church in a tasteful black dress and matching jacket.
The appreciative actress paid tribute to her co-star on Twitter, sharing, " My heart is broken today saying goodbye to Lupe Ontiveros at her beautiful funeral. 'She was the mother of our culture'-Eddie Olmos."
Afterwards, she added, " The amount of people showing their love and support today was overwhelming and I'm sure Lupe was smiling down at us today...#RIPLupeOntiveros."
