Avril Lavigne And Chad Kroeger Are Married!

Singer Avril Lavigne married her boyfriend Chad Kroeger last night. After a year-long engagement, the Canadian rockers were ready to tie the knot during an intimate ceremony in South France. The couple throw a party for their frends and family in Cannes on June 29 to celebrate their upcoming wedding on July 1. According to Us Weekly, the pair is “technically not married yet,” but they have already kicked of the ceremony to celebrate their love.

“It’s extremely intimate, just close friends and family,”an Insider tells the magazine. Avril earlier revealed that she was doing all the planning for the wedding. “I’m the one who has the crazy vision and he’s letting me be me. It’s a lot and I just want to make sure I really enjoy this amazing time,” the singer said a couple of months ago about the big day. Congrats to the newlyweds!

Kristen Stewart Books Two Post-Breakup Movies

Kristen Stewart isn't sitting around and crying into a tub of ice cream after her breakup with Robert Pattinson.

The Twilight actress has booked two indie dramas that she will shoot later this summer, according to The Hollywood Reporter. KStew will play a female soldier who forms an unlikely bond with one of the prisoners when she is stationed at Guantanamo Bay in the film Camp X-Ray, directed by Peter Sattler.

The second film, Sils Maria, stars Juliette Binoche as an aging actress who agrees to star in the play that made her famous opposite a trouble young Hollywood starlet, played by Chloe Moretz. Stewart will play a supporting role as Binoche's assistant.

People are sometimes defined by a single instinctive gesture, made off the cuff. In the late 70s, I was recording a TV drama at London Weekend's headquarters on the South Bank in the bleak midwinter. We were working on a scene that required me to be in shirtsleeves.

Suddenly a voice announced over the loud speaker system: "Clear the building immediately!" It was a bomb-scare. Out we all trooped into a dank street on a freezing night. A large figure appeared behind me and draped something over my shoulders. It was Jim Goddard, the director, with a broad smile on his face – it was his coat. Perhaps his need was not as pressing as one of his actors in the middle of a recording that would be resumed asap – nevertheless the moment has stayed with me.
